About the role

We are looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to join our marketing team at Sievo. This is a full-time global role, reporting to the Head of Product Marketing and offers an exciting opportunity to work with an established B2B SaaS brand with 20+ years of existence.

The Customer Marketing Manager is a revenue-centric marketer who will directly contribute towards increasing NRR and Customer Lifetime Value by planning and executing communication strategies aimed at cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, as well as ensuring customer loyalty and retention.

You will be working with cross-functional teams — Customer Success, Product and Marketing — to ensure a seamless alignment of timely customer-centric narrative with differentiated product messaging.

Responsibilities:

Being the first customer marketer at Sievo, you will establish the customer marketing strategy, practices and foundation. You will be steering the team effort towards driving customer retention and up-selling to customers through various marketing tactics.

  • Streamline customer communication: Be the focal point that manages the communication to customers throughout the entire customer journey from implementation, onboarding, product adoption, expansion, retention and renewal, to advocacy.
  • Up-selling & Cross-selling: Collaborate with our product marketing and customer success teams to design and execute marketing strategies that drive cross-selling and up-selling to our existing customers.
  • GTM Campaigns: Working closely with Customer Success team, being the voice of the customer, having deep understanding of the customer needs and expectations, execute the tactical GTM plan that communicates the value of our new products and features to our customers.
  • Content: Create effective materials using aligned product messaging, that our customer success teams can use to communicate the value and capabilities of our products to existing customers.
  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships cross-functionally, including with our product, marketing and customer success teams to align, assure the flow of information to customers and create feedback loops.
  • Customer retention: Design and execute marketing strategies that assure customer awareness of products’ continuous value delivery and drive customer retention.
  • Customer advocacy: Recognize opportunities to celebrate and advocate customer’s success at Sievo, like case studies and testimonials, speakership at Sievo events, peer-reviews etc.
  • Tracking success: Track and analyze customer data, success of managed campaigns, and measure ROI of customer marketing efforts.

Qualification and skills

  • 3+ years of customer marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • A self-starter approach to get things done and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Being familiar with the marketing tactics and channels that can potentially be used for effective product communication to customers
  • Exceptional communication and writing skill, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Outstanding analytical skills to capture feedback and identify, analyse, and use data to give educated recommendations
  • Experience partnering with Customer Success or Account Management teams to coordinate, communicate, and deliver offers and campaigns that resonate with customers along their lifecycle
  • Proficiency with marketing automation systems and CRM (preferably HubSpot)
  • Collaboration skills and fluency in English

We also consider it is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience in businesses with high touch sales (SLG) and long sales cycles
  • Understanding of Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management, Sustainability or Finance
  • Some experience in Demand Generation
