To support our strong growth, our sales team in United States is on the lookout for a Solution Consultant. A Presales Solution Consultant acts as a link between the Sales, Customers, and Product functions, with a versatile set of activities: driving Proof-of-Concept – or Spend Cube– projects in a project manager role, supporting Sales in introducing solutions fit to customer challenges, and collaborating with Product Development.

You will have the chance to:

  • Be the primary point of contact for the Sales and Partnerships team, as the Sievo subject-matter-expert, to support in any technical discussion or demonstrate the value of the Sievo solution to prospects.
  • Project Manage a global team to deliver Proof-of-Concept and Spend Cube projects. From scoping of prospects business needs, lead analytics configuration, lead a global development team, and final delivery to key prospect and partner stakeholders.
  • Learn a wide stack of technologies; including industry-leading AI and latest BI tools while also sky-rocketing your SQL and Azure skills.
  • Gain 360° view to SaaS business by collaborating with different functions and teams, from Sales and Marketing to Professional Services, Customer Success and all the way to Product Development.
  • Assist in holding external webinars and internal trainings.

At Sievo you will succeed and grow. Important skills we would be looking for:

  • Strong project management and task management ability. You will be responsible for ensuring deliverables and timing is met for client proof-of-concepts for Fortune 500 companies and spend cubes for leading consultants.
  • Strong presentation and communication ability. Be convincing. As you will be supporting sales with technical discussions, leading a demo, or giving a final presentation on client engagements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with technical tools. (SQL, Spend cubes, Excel, Tableau, Qlikview, Qliksense, PowerBI, ERP systems, Azure).
  • Problem solving skills. You may be faced with situations where you don't have enough information and need to better understand the client's data to come up with the best solution to support the client's business objectives.
  • Have an academic degree in the fields of Business and/or Data Analytics, but not a requirement.
  • Having procurement or purchasing experience is a strong plus, but not a requirement.
  • Ability to speak other languages (Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, etc) is a plus, but not a requirement.

Your first six months targets would include:

  • Successfully project manage, from start to completion, your own
    Proof-of-Concept or Spend Cube project.
  • Becoming familiar with Sievo solutions with ability to support sales team in RFP and technical discussions.
  • Gaining understanding of the core challenges our customers are facing and providing solutions to support their challenges.
  • Getting to know all the awesome people at Sievo in our Helsinki, Bucharest, and Chicago offices
