To support our strong growth, our Sales team in Helsinki is on the lookout for a Presales Solution Consultant. A Presales Solution Consultant acts as a link between the Sales, Customers, and Product functions, with a versatile set of activities: driving Proof-of-Concept – or “Spend Cube” – projects in a project manager role, supporting Sales in introducing solutions fit to customer challenges, and collaborating with Product Development.
As a Presales Solution Consultant, you will have the chance to:
Deliver Proof-of-Concept projects by being the project manager and solution consultant, and coordinating a global team of data managers and engineers:
- Identify the fit of Sievo solutions to prospect business needs, and help scope the project.
- Oversee the entire ETL process of raw procurement data from clients’ ERPs into our software.
- Configure the analytics layer using industry-leading in-house and BI tools.
- Find savings opportunities in the data and present the business case to client leadership.
- Learn a wide stack of technologies including industry-leading AI, latest BI tools and SQL.
Join sales meetings to support technical discussions and run live demos:
- Be the Sievo subject-matter-expert for the Sales and Partnerships teams.
- Consult clients with their requirements and propose solutions to match their needs.
Collaborate with Product Development and other internal functions:
- Be the champion of Sievo products, as well as innovate and develop the most compelling demo environment.
Your first six months targets would include:
- Gaining an understanding of the core challenges our customers are facing.
- Taking responsibility for your first customer cases.
- Becoming familiar with Sievo solutions and tools.
- Having meetings with Procurement leaders of Fortune 500 companies.
- Getting to know all the awesome people at Sievo.
With our support you will succeed and grow in this position. A bit easier it will surely be, if you have:
- Strong project management and task management abilities. You will be responsible for ensuring deliverables and timing is met for proof-of-concepts for Fortune 500 companies and spend cubes for leading consultants.
- Strong presentation and communication skills. You're a convincing communicator as you will be supporting sales with technical discussions and leading demos.
- Excellent analytical skills. You are also familiar with SQL, Excel and have some experience with BI tools. Basic understanding of ERP systems, corporate procurement and/or finance, Azure or similar cloud platforms are considered as an advantage.
- Problem solving skills. You may be faced with situations where you don't have enough information and need to better understand the client's data to come up with the best solution to support the client's business objectives.
- Academic degree in the fields of Business and/or Data Analytics, or in another related field.
- Fluency in English. Other language skills (Spanish, German, French, etc.) are a plus, but not a requirement.
