About the role

Now we are looking to strengthen our Finance team with a Junior Accounting Specialist. This is a global role and works in close collaboration with other colleagues from the Finance team as well as other functions of Sievo.

As a Junior Accounting Specialist, you would be joining our Finance team which makes sure our business runs smoothly, without interruptions, and can focus on accelerating the growth further. We manage the full spectrum of Finance activities from vendor invoices to customer billing all the way to group reporting and strategic projects. We collaborate actively with both internal and external stakeholders and make sure legal obligations are fulfilled. We currently have team members in Helsinki and Bucharest.

What will you do as an Accounting Specialist?

• Process vendor invoices and book them to correct cost centres and accounts for all of our entities
• Support function heads and team leads with any invoicing and accounting related questions
• Process employee travel and cost expense claims
• Reconcile bank statements
• Process payment batches and upload them to banks
• Support with monthly closing related activities
• Manage inter-company bookings
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and our external accounting partner companies

Our expectation for you:

• Understanding of accounting basics
• Being independent and taking ownership
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Genuine interest in international business and international accounting
• Fluency in English and Romanian languages
• Good communication skills

We also consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience from Oracle Netsuite
• Experience from working with multinational company with several subsidiaries

This is a full-time position and the starting salary is in the ballpark of 5000 RON/net per month.
