Data Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing, optimizing and maintaining data integration solutions for our clients. This is a customer-facing position where excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Gathering requirements from new and existing clients and designing integration pipelines
• Implementing new data integration or updating and expanding existing ones
• Provide excellent customer support and communication throughout the support lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of data solutions
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize existing data integration solutions for clients

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL is a must-have skill
• Basic experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure services such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Strong customer support and communication skills in English
• Excellent soft skills including logical thinking, troubleshooting, and investigation
• Detail-oriented with the ability to carefully manage tasks and communication with stakeholders

Extra points if you have

• Experience in Microsoft SSIS, SQL server and Python
• Experience in a customer-facing role
• Background in data engineering, data integration, data analysis, ERP consulting, or related fields
• Procurement knowledge
