Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Lead Software Engineer with a focus on backend development to join our Suppliers team.

Our team is dedicated to tackling the supplier classification challenge in procurement. We strive to develop world-class algorithms that accurately classify vendor-level information to their parent companies. With Sievo's extensive customer base, we handle millions of vendor data entries each month, presenting new challenges that keep our applications performing at their peak.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will:

• Drive & own the technical architecture of the product to ensure scalability & reliability.
• Lead the development process beginning from development to running the services in production.
• Have strong business and user focus actively collaborating with team's service designer and product manager.
• Lead the team's planning session and other relevant meetings.
• Proactively collaborate with other engineering teams, building robust solutions that smoothly work together.
• Mentor & guide software engineers promoting & enforcing best engineering practices.
• Maintain a high standard of code quality, testing & documentation.

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong skills in micro-services architecture and system design.
• Strong experience of cloud applications development using Azure or other cloud technologies.
• Strong skills in C#, .NET.
• Strong skills in database (SQL & NoSQL).
• Viewpoint that tests should be written during development, and code reviews are meant for knowledge sharing and learning.
• Fluent communication skills in English.

Bonus points for:

• Interest or knowledge about AI & ML as we also work with our AI/ML team to improve our algorithms.
• Understanding of React or similar front-end technology.
