About the role
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are looking for both people early in their careers to develop into this role as well as more seasoned professionals. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and developing data integration solutions for our clients. This is a customer-facing position where excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

About You
As a customer-facing Data Engineer, you would:

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize existing data integration solutions for clients
• Provide excellent customer support and communication throughout the support lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of data solutions
• Own and implement client-specific data requirements, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of data-related issues

What we are looking for from you

• Solid SQL skill - this is a must
• Basic experience with Azure, especially Data Factory and Databricks
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with clear, structured thinking
• Strong communication and customer support skills in English
• Detail-oriented and accountable – you manage your tasks and stakeholder communication with care

Extra Points for

• Experience with Microsoft SSIS, SQL Server, Python, and APIs
• Background in ETL, data engineering, integration, analysis, or ERP consulting
• Experience in a customer-facing role
• Procurement knowledge
• Willingness to work 12–8 PM Romanian time (comes with a 15% salary bonus)

The salary range for this role is around 7000-9000 RON/NET per month based on previous experience.
