Meet Sievo
We are Sievo: a Finnish-born, global-leading procurement analytics SaaS company. Here at Sievo we help the largest companies in the world, household brands like Deutsche Telekom, Levi’s and Mars, to generate cost savings, understand their procurement data, make data-driven decisions, reduce emissions, drive supply chain resilience, and beyond. Currently 2% of global GDP is processed by Sievo every year – pretty cool, right?
At Sievo, we’re powered by smart and kind people from all over the world. Our 450+ Sievonians are based in Helsinki, Chicago, Bucharest and London. As we continue to grow internationally, we are opening an office in Germany as well as in France.
About the role
Partnerships are one of Sievo’s most strategic growth levers globally, and the German market is one of Sievo’s biggest European markets to date with significant additional growth potential. Due to this, we are doubling down on both, looking for a Vice President of Partnerships & Managing Director, Germany, to lead our global partnerships team as well as our go-to-market activities in Germany. This is a dual role that combines a global functional leadership mandate with local market leadership in Germany:
- As VP Partnerships, you own Sievo’s entire partnerships function end-to-end across consulting, data, software, and reseller partnerships, with consulting as the primary channel. You lead the 7-person Partnerships team and report to the SVP, Sales & Customer Success.
- As Managing Director, Germany, you lead Sievo’s presence in the German market, one of our most important growth markets in Europe. As we are looking to open an office in Germany and expand with local Key Account Manager and sales presence, you would be a key player in making this happen.
What you’ll do
- Own Sievo’s overall partnerships strategy across consulting, data, software, and reseller partnerships, setting the vision and driving execution.
- Build, deepen, and activate relationships with priority consulting firms, and drive joint business development with partners and internal sales, from account mapping through to commercial closure.
- Build and run a scalable operating model for partnerships, including enablement, governance, engagement rhythms, and performance tracking.
- Lead and grow the Partnerships team (currently 7 FTEs) shaping its structure in line with your strategy.
- As Managing Director, establish Sievo’s office in Germany and act as Sievo’s senior leader in the local market. Our German commercial team – including locally hired Key Account Manager and Account Executive, and potentially a pre-sales professional – would work with a dotted line to you.
- Drive Sievo’s growth in the German market, combining local sales and key account leadership with the partner ecosystem you own globally.
- Represent Sievo externally with senior consulting-firm stakeholders, customers, and prospects in Germany and internationally.
What we’re looking for
- Background in management consulting (ideally in procurement, supply chain, or digital transformation practices), or strong sales and partnerships experience in procurement technology. Either way, having a solid understanding of how top-tier consulting firms operate, sell, and influence client decisions is essential.
- For candidates from a consulting background, ideally having added commercial and/or account management experience, for example in sales leadership, key account management, or a P&L-carrying role.
- Executive-level communication and relationship-building skills; credible with senior partners at consulting firms and with C-level customer stakeholders.
- Strong ownership and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a global functional team while acting as the local leader for our German market presence.
- Commercial drive and comfort owning revenue targets, turning relationships into pipeline and closed business.
- A builder mindset and comfort leading through strategic ambiguity as the consulting channel evolves with AI.
- Fluency in German and English.
What we offer
- A rare combination of global functional ownership and local market leadership, with a direct line to Sievo’s commercial growth and executive team.
- An established 7-person Partnerships team and a strong German customer base to build on from day one.
- Sievonians are ambitious, yet kind and supportive – you’ll work with an international team of 40+ nationalities, collaborating with smart, driven, and genuinely kind people.
- Our Finnish roots run deep: we are founded on an open, honest and transparent Nordic working culture where we value freedom and responsibility, while working with high standards. We are looking for people who yearn for this freedom, are able to make the most out of it and are willing to take on the responsibility.
Location
Sievo has a hybrid working model. This role can be based in Munich, Frankfurt am Main or Düsseldorf. The position requires international travel to meet partners, customers and internal stakeholders (approximately on a monthly basis). Please note that we are unable to provide relocation sponsorship for this role and all candidates should be eligible to work in Germany.
