What advice would you give to women entering your field?
For women stepping into partnerships, remember: people are your greatest asset. Building genuine connections is what truly shaped my career, and understanding people is the foundation of any lasting relationship.
Knowing your industry helps you find the right opportunities so you can lead collaborations instead of just enabling them.
And always, take initiative; create the opportunities, don't wait for them.
Ultimately, resilience and a real drive to create value for everyone will take you further than you thought possible.
If I could give my younger self one piece of advice what would it be?
My advice to my younger self would be: don't just absorb knowledge, actively seek understanding. Be a sponge, but prioritize understanding the people around you—their motivations and perspectives. Don't just ask 'what,' ask 'why.'
The more you demonstrate your willingness to learn, the more people will invest in you and share their knowledge.
But then again, find mentors who not only share their expertise but also show genuine interest in your growth.
If you could describe your career in one word, what would it be and why?
If I could describe my career in one word, it would be 'impact.' It's about creating positive change for others, driving meaningful results through collaboration and strategic initiatives.
Through my experiences, I've learned how to leverage my strengths to make a real difference, focusing on creating shared value.
My focus has always been on learning, growing, and adapting to find new ways to contribute. In the end, what defines my journey is the ability to drive positive change and create lasting impact.
Why do you think it is important to celebrate International Women’s Day?
For me, International Women's Day is a powerful reminder of how far we've come, and how much further we need to go.
We celebrate because when all women, from all walks of life, have equal opportunities, everyone wins. We see stronger economies, more innovative solutions, and healthier communities. It's about recognizing that the fight for equality isn't just a 'women's issue,' it's a human issue.
In addition, to me personally, it's about building a world where my daughter has the same opportunities as anyone else.
Who is a woman that inspires you and why?
Reshma Saujani inspires me, especially because I’m a mother of two. She's doing incredible work with Girls Who Code, opening doors for girls in the tech world. But it's her 'Marshall Plan for Moms' that really gets to me. She understands the daily balance act we face – the pressure to exceed at work while also being present for our kids.
She's not just acknowledging the problem; she's pushing for real policy changes to support working mothers.
What’s the best career adivce you’ve ever received?
My former manager's advice, 'You're at the table for a reason,' fundamentally shifted my perspective.
I used to compare myself to others - like we all do. He reminded me it wasn't about matching experience but valuing my unique contributions.
He turned my perceived liabilities into assets, which gave me the confidence to truly own my place.
What keeps you motivated in your role?
It's really rewarding to build collaborations that help everyone succeed. What makes it even better is Sievo's collaborative way of working, which includes our partners.
We work together to reach goals and solve problems, and it feels good to see those partnerships grow and succeed. Knowing we've built something valuable together keeps me inspired.
