About Sievo

We are Sievo - a fast-growing SaaS company and the global leader in our space, Procurement Analytics. We help the largest companies in the world to understand their procurement data, make data-driven decisions, maximize their savings, drive supply chain resilience, and beyond. Each year, we process over 2% of the world’s total spend. Pretty cool, right? We are recognized and awarded by key industry analysts including Gartner, the Hackett Group and SpendMatters, and have offices in Helsinki, Chicago, Bucharest, and London.
For the past decade, Sievo has been growing about 30% a year on a profitable basis, and over the past five years, we have executed a highly successful expansion into the US market that we want to continue further. Our client portfolio features globally known companies such as Kellogg’s, Levi’s, and T-Mobile and is continuously growing. In 2022, we raised a $44 million growth investment from a US-based growth investor to further accelerate our growth in our key markets, including the US.

About the role

If you are a versatile marketer who loves the strategy of a digital campaign as much as the energy of a live event, we should talk!

We are looking for a dynamic Growth & Event Marketing Manager to join the global Growth Marketing team at Sievo to help progress our expansion into the US market. Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, based in the US, this is a unique role designed for a "full-stack" marketer who can seamlessly pivot between launching sophisticated digital campaigns and executing best-in-class physical experiences.

As a contributor to our US marketing, you will sit at the junction of Demand Generation and Event Marketing. You will be responsible for helping build a robust pipeline through global omni-channel digital strategies while simultaneously managing our US event presence, including our annual flagship event, SievoFriends, Chicago, as well as targeted mini-events and applicable industry tradeshows.

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Omni-channel Campaigns: Design, launch, and manage integrated marketing campaigns that engage our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) across email, web, social, webinars, and connect to events thematically.
  • Campaign Conversion: Work closely with partners in the marketing organization to iterate on campaign themes, landing pages, and ad copy, ensuring a seamless journey from Lead to MQL.
  • Pipeline Accountability: Monitor and report on campaign and event performance, focusing on path from lead to first meeting and beyond. Obsession with impact and lead-to-revenue conversion metrics are key.
  • SievoFriends Chicago: Take the lead on planning and executing our annual flagship event in the US, ensuring it delivers exceptional value from prospects to clients, decisions makers to industry champions across the Americas.
  • Mini-Events: Design and host "mini-events,” such as executive roundtables and VIP dinners, that provide high-touch engagement for key prospects and existing customers – a forum for thought leadership and the sharing of big ideas.
  • Tradeshow Excellence: Manage our end-to-end presence at US industry tradeshows, from booth practicalities and logistics, to pre-event promotion and post-event lead follow-up – always keeping an eye on pipeline creation and advancement.
  • Sales and Customer Success Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to the US Sales and Customer Success teams, ensuring they have the tools and event-driven opportunities needed to show up strong and ultimately close deals.

Key qualifications and skills:

  • The Hybrid Mindset: Demonstrated successful background and experience in managing both digital demand generation and physical events.
  • Campaign Expertise: Experience building effective marketing campaigns and mapping the full digital customer journey.
  • Event Pro: Strong project management skills with experience running large-scale conferences and intimate events including not just logistics, but themes, pre and post marketing.
  • Data-Driven: Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and a deep understanding of lead-scoring models and pipeline math.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A "get things done" attitude. Must be comfortable working in a high-growth environment where you are both the strategist and the executor.
  • Communication: Create compelling campaign narratives and event themes that resonate with our ICPs and audiences. Strong collaboration skills are a must as we work cross-functionally within and outside of our marketing org.

What we consider an additional advantage in this role:

  • Experience in Enterprise B2B SaaS GTM motions with high sales touch
  • Understanding of Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management or related fields
  • While we are open to candidates across the US, we have a preference for candidates based in Chicago, IL where our US office is located
