Sievo is a high-growth SaaS company providing in-house built procurement analytics solutions. Our clients are multinational companies such as Kellogg’s, Levi’s, and Deutsche Telekom.

For the past 10 years Sievo has been growing about 30% a year on a self-financed and profitable basis. In September, we raised a 44 million growth investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity, aimed at further scaling our platform and geographic presence.

About the role

We are now looking for a Data Architect to join our Data Architecture team.

Data Architects work in a key role interacting with internal stakeholders all over the company, the key functions being sales and project implementation teams.

For sales the added value of Architects is to understand the client data landscapes and figure out needed technologies in order for us to build sustainable integrations between the client’s ERPs and Sievo.

With project teams the goal is to make the process of implementation go as fluently as possible by aiding with the architectural design of the ETL and sometimes building new and exciting features to the data model. Some of these features might not have been done before, so you get be creative while balancing it with the boundaries of the solution.

As a Data Architect, you will

• Work with our Sales team to identify the prospects’ technical requirements and suggest an integration strategy
• Help our Project’s teams crack complex and non-standard integrations during our software implementation period
• Develop APIs integration pipelines to retrieve data
• Research data acquisition opportunities
• Observe and translate our clients’ latest developments to identify future needs
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure Sievo’s integration capabilities
• Join in on the journey from on-prem solutions to Azure
• Bring your expertise and be ready to share it <3

About You

We expect that you have:

• Solid understanding of the “ins and outs ” of one of the major ERPs either on-prem or Cloud-based, such as SAP, Oracle EBS, JDEdwards, D365, Navision

OR

• Strong experience in Cloud Data Integration (Azure, AWS, Snowflake)

AND

• experience with business processes and customer work in B2B context
• ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical audiences
• responsibility and ownership
• experience in SQL
• fluency in English
• ability to adapt to rapid market changes
• ability to learn things quickly

Extra points for

• Experience in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake
• Knowledge of procure to pay “P2P”
• Experience in Python
• Experience in REST APIs
